• Location information. The Nearby feature uses your current device location only after permission is granted to find nearby Jain temples, gurus, and organisations. Admins or moderators may also add organization or guru location records, which can be shown publicly when marked public.
• Usage and diagnostic information such as content opened, approximate session identifiers, device/platform type, app route, error messages, stack traces, and similar technical logs used for analytics, reliability, abuse prevention, and support.
• Contact form information such as your name, email address, mobile number, subject, and message when you contact us.
• Advertising and device information processed by Google AdMob or related Google services when mobile ads are enabled.

How We Use Information

• To create accounts, authenticate users, verify contact details, and provide support.
• To publish, review, moderate, organize, search, and display Jain content.
• To provide bookmarks, sharing, reports, nearby search, and account deletion.
• To operate analytics, diagnose errors, secure the service, and prevent misuse.
• To send service messages such as verification codes, account notices, and replies.
• To show and manage ads when advertising is enabled.

Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process information with service providers that help us operate JinVandan, including hosting, database, media storage, email or SMS delivery, analytics/error reporting, maps/location tools, YouTube content services, and Google AdMob advertising. Public Content

Content submitted for publication, organization details, guru updates, public location records, and approved media may be visible to other users and visitors. Please do not submit private or sensitive information in public content fields.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal and sensitive data, including authenticated access controls and secure handling of account credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention and Deletion

Standard users can delete their account from the app. Account deletion removes user-owned authentication and bookmark data and associated profile media, subject to legal, security, backup, and moderation needs. Published public content, organization records, audit logs, reports, and aggregated analytics may be retained where needed to operate and protect the service.

Your Choices

• You can choose not to create an account, though some features require login.
• You can deny location permission; Nearby will not use your device location.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.
• You can delete a standard user account from the mobile app account settings.

Children

JinVandan is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
